Description of Units & Tariff

1. Upper Double Unit (Non A/C):

Large sized room with double bed (or twin bed option) on the topmost floor, attached bathroom with hot & cold water, large sized veranda overlooking the valley below and equipped with fridge and satellite TV. An Extra Bed/Person cannot be accommodated in this Unit. Graceful is exempted from GST. The per night tariff is as under:

April – September: Single: Rs.2,500/- Double: Rs.3,000/-
October – March: Single: Rs.3,000/- Double: Rs.3,500/-

2. Suite (Non A/C):

Large sized room with double bed on the ground floor, attached bathroom with hot & cold water, large L-shaped veranda with the same view of the valley below and easy access to other general parts of the house. The Suite can also accommodate an extra person & is charged at 20% of room tariff. Access to satellite TV is in the living room. Graceful is exempted from GST. The per night tariff is as under:

April – September: Single: Rs.2,500/- Double: Rs.3,000/-
October – March: Single: Rs.3,000/- Double: Rs.3,500/-

3. Lower Double Unit (Non A/C):

Medium sized room (twin bed option) on the lower floor, attached bathroom with hot & cold water, and a large veranda overlooking the lower level garden/grounds. 4. Down Under Unit (Non A/C Mini Suite):

Medium sized room with double bed on the lowest floor, attached bathroom with hot & cold water, small sitting room with satellite TV, kitchenette with fridge plus access to veranda of Unit # 3. This Unit can also accommodate an extra person & is charged at 20% of room tariff. Graceful is exempted from GST. The per night tariff is as under:

April – September: Single: Rs.1,800/- Double: Rs.2,000/-
October – March: Single: Rs.2,000/- Double: Rs.2,200/-

Additional Information:

  • Since the building was constructed to reflect an open personality and to take advantage of God-given natural light and cool breeze, our units are not air conditioned, but other means of cooling like fans and air coolers are provided in all rooms. All windows and doors are fitted with mosquito prevention screens.
  • While flexible check-in & check-out time is accommodated, standard check-out/check-in time is between 12 noon & 2 pm. Half day rate is charged for very early morning check-in (before 5 am) and late evening check out (after 5 pm). Check out after 10 pm is at full rate.
  • While accommodation for a single night’s stay is considered, the general preference is for a minimum stay of 2 nights. We offer a 5% - 10% discount on unit rent for stays of 5 - 10 nights & beyond.
  • At Graceful Home Stay a complimentary breakfast is served between 08:00 and 10:00 am which includes a taste of the local cuisine. There is no extra charge or restriction on the consumption of beverages, cookies, fruits, etc. laid out in the dining area; guests can help themselves when needed. Since we are not registered to run a full scale restaurant, lunch and dinner is not served and guests are encouraged to try out the local eateries within a 1 to 2 km radius which cater to a variety of taste and pocket!
  • However, an occasional home-cooked meal (dinner) can be served at additional cost but only at the convenience of the host and with advance request by breakfast time. Per head charge is Rs.800 for non-vegetarian (comprising rice/chapatti, chicken/fish, 2 veg dishes, salad & desert) and Rs.500 for vegetarian (comprising rice/chapatti, daal, 2 veg dishes, salad & desert). Kitchen facility for independent cooking is not provided at Graceful due to inconvenience to other guests.
  • Reasonable use of computer and access to internet (wi-fi) free of charge in the general areas of the home stay is an added facility. Laundry service is available at extra charge.
  • Payment is accepted by both cash and credit card. Advance payment is not mandatory from foreign tourists due to complications & expenses involved in the transfer process but firm written confirmation and follow-up confirmation is a requirement.
  • Domestic tourists may wish to consider a 50% down payment once booking is confirmed since internal bank transfers are more easily undertaken. Details of bank account will be provided as soon as booking is confirmed from both sides. Guests staying on a long term arrangement of more than 1 week may make weekly payments in advance starting from the date of arrival, for mutual convenience.
